“Baboushka” wrap-around mini-kimono

A wrap-around "mini kimono" where a Handmade ikat from Uzbekistan meets the russian patterns of flowers print and a vintage scarf .

We were inspired to create this unique piece by composing this range of softly colored fabrics. And before we had the honor of reworking these beautiful fabrics in our atelier, we spent years collecting and studying fabrics and the stories they tell. This deep interest in combining textiles of all kinds is at the heart of our creative process.

The main material is a pink viscose jersey. She gives this wrap-around a fall enough flexible while the wide cotton borders which finish the belt, the collar and the cuffs bring a nice outfit and an appearance more structured to the garment. The edges of the cuffs are perfectly finished and can be rolled up, revealing the Ikat patterns .

This wrap-around can be worn in three different ways:

1. crossed tightly above the chest and tied above the waist
2. crossed leaving the neckline more indented and tied a little lower
3. the sections of the belt tied at the front like a vest to wear over a long dress for example.
