The meeting between a Moroccan Mdema and a Japanese Obi . It sublimates, underlines, and enhances the silhouette, while perfectly hugging the shape of the body. It is tied elegantly, high or low waist, in the back or on the front, by slightly shifting the ties to the side.
A reversible accessory where the smallest vestiges of Faso Dan Dani are found , cotton hand-woven in Burkina Faso, moiré fabric, vintage damask fabric , and Thai silk ikat assembled in a mini patchwork .
The reuse of fabric scraps generated by the production of other creations made it possible to create this new assembly.
No textile material from Julie Menuge's workshop is thrown away; the creation of this piece is fundamentally connected to her upcycling approach.
Crafted with great care and love, this unique piece was entirely handmade in Brussels.
