This unique jacket with exceptional fabrics authentically reflects my upcycling approach , which also promotes artisanal textile know-how and creates bridges between cultures.

Vintage patterns and handcrafted materials:

I've sourced and combined patterned fabrics from different sources. They meet and discuss together what they have the most beautiful to offer you.

I made it by combining the shine of a fabric from an Obi (a vintage Japanese kimono belt), with a piece of printed linen curtain from the 70s and for the sleeves, the freshness of vintage quilted Indian cotton.

Handcrafted Thai silk is one of the most beautiful fabrics I've ever included in my collections. Handwoven from different rural areas of Thailand, its patterns were created using the ikat technique, a tie-dye technique done before weaving, with exceptional finesse and precision. So you can fully enjoy it, I quilted the patch pockets on the front of this bomber jacket myself, giving it even more contrast, relief, and texture to appreciate.

This bomber jacket is a unique textile composition, a patchwork of colors, textures and shines that I created for you from different collected materials.

Reversible with superb finishes:

This jacket is fully reversible because it's simply perfectly finished. To make it as comfortable as possible, I've tailored a lining made from printed vintage cottons. To give it a perfect drape and a structured look, I've framed the lining with a facing made from recycled upholstery damask.

My artistic approach:

It was first while composing the range of fabrics that I was inspired to create this unique bomber jacket. And before having the honor of reworking these superb fabrics in my workshop, I spent years collecting and studying them to enhance the stories they tell. This deep interest in combining textiles of all kinds is at the heart of my creative process.

Made with great care and finesse , this unique piece, entirely handmade, required more than twelve hours of work for the research, the cutting, the creation of the quilting of the pockets, the textile composition, the sewing work, the assembly stages up to the finishing touches.

• Sleeves: Vintage Indian Khanta quilt
• Breastplate, shoulders: vintage obi, Japanese kimono belt
• Back and front: old thick linen curtain, colorfast print
• Pockets: Quilted Thai handcrafted silk ikat
• Facing framing the lining: old damask curtain
• Lining: panther print cotton on the front, batik on Bazin from Mali on the back, cotton wax on the sleeves
• Cotton jersey and gold lurex borders
