This two-sided scarf is very pleasant to wear, as well as to look at . The encounter between a cotton wax print and an upcycled jersey knit. A versatile scarf with a mixed design, which can be worn on both sides.
On the most worked side, the printed wax patterns have been finely embroidered, applied and sewn by machine with great precision, with small, tight stitches. This creation required long hours of embroidery and cutting work, ultimately justified by the finesse of its finishes, almost invisible if you don't pay too much attention to it.
Making this piece made me overcycle a reused Jacquardt knit with a printed cotton wax. And beauty arrived right in the middle of this unique blend, fundamentally connected to my approach to upcycling and inter-cultural creations.
Made with great care and love, this scarf was entirely handmade and made in Brussels, in my workshop.
